GO GO 401 Private Transportation for Senior
Serving GTA & Surrounding Area
According to Statistics Canada, the number of seniors is expected to grow quickly until 2031 when all the baby boomers will be 65 years old. By 2036, seniors could make up about 23% to 25% of the total population. Many seniors and those with disabilities live alone in rural areas and find it hard to get help, especially if they are living in poverty or come from different cultures and speak different languages. Because of the rise in scams at their doors, many seniors are hesitant to open up to strangers who say they can help.
GO GO 401 for Seniors will offer safe and reliable transportation for seniors to non-emergency medical appointments, church, and social gatherings. We will pick up seniors from their homes, take them to their destinations, and bring them back home afterward. This service will help reduce the stress for senior riders who have to wait for public transit and allow for social distancing, as rides will be scheduled for one group at a time.
The service will also help seniors connect with others and promote support between seniors and younger generations. It will get seniors involved in their communities through mentoring. Our drivers can speak English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, making it easier for seniors to communicate. We can accommodate foldable wheelchairs and walkers, and our staff can assist seniors getting in and out of the vehicle if needed.
Photos of seniors were taken during the service and shared online with their permission.
